Branch Manager Development Program

The Branch Manager Development Program (BDMP) is an exciting opportunity that allows Noble to invest in the growth and development of the future leaders of our organization.  The program is designed to build knowledge from the ground up, providing each candidate with the opportunity to experience every aspect of the business. The program spans over a period of up to 45 months, taking each individual ("Trainee") through 6 learning phases.  If at the end of the 6th phase the Trainee has demonstrated that they have what it takes to be a high performance leader, the next step is the assignment of a Branch Manager role within our network.

Understanding the Phases
• In the first phase, the Operations team will teach best practices in warehousing and logistics.
• In the second phase, Trainees experience how to work face-to-face with our customers in Counter Sales.
• In the third phase, Trainees shadow the Purchasing team, learning how to acquire and manage inventory through supply and demand strategies. 
• In the fourth phase, Trainees will take on the role of Inside Sales and will learn how to service customers via telephone, email and other technology as demanded by our evolving industry.  
• After gaining a strong understanding of how our Inside Sales team operates, and having mastered the skills covered in Phases 1 through 4, each Trainee will transition to the fifth phase of the program as an Outside Sales Representative.  Trainees will once again have the opportunity to work face-to-face with customers and spend time on the road visiting customers and job sites.
• In the final phase of the program, the successful candidates will shadow a Branch Manager and learn to build, motivate and lead a team to deliver world-class results.

What Does it Take?
• Completion of University Degree, College Diploma or equivalent experience required.
• Demonstrated record of strong leadership and ability to motivate others.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Experience with conflict-resolution and problem-solving in an environment with multiple stakeholders and balancing priorities.
